Ingredients
5 tsp onion powder
5 tsp dried parsley
1 tbsp garlic salt
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp sweet cream buttermilk powder
2 tsp dried dill weed
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp celery salt
1 cup organic beef or organic chicken broth
4 thick-cut boneless free-range pork chops
Directions
- In a small bowl, stir together all the dry seasonings. You will use 1 tablespoon of rub for every 1 pound of pork in this recipe. Store any unused rub in an airtight container for later use.
- Pour the broth into the slow cooker. Coat each pork chop with rub and place in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low until the internal temperature of the chops reaches 145°F, about 2 1/2 hours. Serve hot.
